All the quartzes are lovely, but Spirit Quartzes are something else again.

Spirit quartz is formed when very small quartz points grow outwards from a larger quartz point. They can be in a variety of colours but are most commonly white or purple (from clear quartz or amethyst). Spirit quartz is most commonly found in South Africa.

As the name suggests, these little chunks of gorgeousness are very high vibration stones. They resonate particularly well with the crown and higher crown chakras, although they can also work with the heart chakra.

Spirit quartzes are most often used when one is trying to evolve spiritually, connect to the spirit realm and even at times when we the soul is having to face the possibility of death.

It is said to support healing, balance and peace at all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It has even been used to help with healing in previous lifetimes or to assist souls to transition. 

The different colours resonate with the same kinds of energy found in their more conventional quartz forms (such as amethyst, citrine, smoky quartz, etc). 



Spirit quartz is also used to heal memory at the cellular level and can be supportive of detoxification and purification. 

You might like to use it to ramp up the energy of a crystal grid or to hold and further activate gem or flower essences.
